Today marks 17 years since the worst terrorist attack on U. S. soil. As the nation looks back at the events of September 11, 2001, we remember the bravery, courage, and humanity shown on that day and the many days that followed. Bishop State Community College students, faculty and staff will take a moment on each campus today to remember those who died, honor those who served and sacrificed, and encourage those who carry on after such tragedy. A representative from each campus will meet at the flagpole at the following times:

Southwest Campus: 9:00 am Carver Campus: 9:15 am Central Campus: 10:30 am Main Campus: 10:45 am

Mobile native Mary McCall was caught in one of the Twin Towers during the attacks and is a survivor of 9/11. She will join students on our Central Campus to share her first-hand encounter of the attacks. The community is invited to join us as she shares her story.
