Mobile, Alabama – James Austin, a student of Bishop State Community College, has won a full scholarship to the University of Arizona.
Austin, of Mobile, worked with Dr. Leroy Roberson, a local voice instructor, who taught him to sing in Italian and German. He performed a German piece for the music teachers at the University of Arizona that led to the full scholarship to the university.
Austin would like to pursue a career in opera.
James Austin, currently a student at Bishop State, has received a full scholarship to the University of Arizona.
