It's summertime. While many students are relaxing and taking it easy, other students are using this time wisely and making sure they are ready to begin or continue their education this fall. Be one of the students who get ahead of the curve and fill out your FAFSA before registering for your classes! Bishop State is here to help! The Learning Assistance Center will host a FAFSA Completion Workshop to help you fill out your FAFSA application. The workshop will take place Friday, June 29, 2018, from 9 a.m. - Noon on the Bishop State Main Campus in the Caldwell-Richardson Building room 104. Students who wish to participate in the workshop will need to bring the following items to complete their FAFSA:

  • 2016 Federal tax information or tax returns for students
  • 2016 Federal tax information or tax returns for parents if the student is a dependent and under the age of 24
  • Identification (driver's license) and Social Security Number
  • Permanent resident card, green card, or alien number if the student is not a U.S. citizen
  • Verifiable email address for student and parent (this is needed to create the mandatory FSA ID to electronically sign the FAFSA application
