Educating and training the next generation of Mobile's workforce is a major priority for Bishop State Community College. We know to do so we must reach students early. This is why the College partners with high schools throughout Mobile and Washington counties to offer students courses that will not only provide them credit hours needed for high school but will also double as credit for college courses. Tuesday, April 17, 2018, Bishop State Community College stopped to honor the hundreds of students who participated in our dual enrollment program during the Spring 2018 semester. Bishop State served a total of 423 students in our academic and technical dual enrollment programs. These students attend 15 different schools throughout Mobile and Washington counties. More than 90 students attended the program. Their families and friends watched as each student was presented with a certificate. Honorees were then celebrated with a spirit line made of Bishop State's athletes, students, faculty, and staff. The College is proud of the students and looks forward to seeing them attend Bishop State after graduating high school!
