Bishop State Community College's lineworker training program was set to begin training its second round of future lineworkers in June 2020. However, as with most things, the COVID-19 pandemic has changed those plans. Organizers have announced the June class is now canceled, but are hopeful the program will return in January 2021. It will depend on the status of the Coronavirus at that time.

  • Due to COVID-19, the Bishop State Lineworker class scheduled to begin in June 2020 is now canceled. The next class is scheduled to start in January 2021, depending on the coronavirus situation at that time. Applications for the January 2021 class are expected to be available beginning August 2020.
