Bishop State's 2022 Spring Commencement Ceremony will take place Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at 6 p.m. in the Mobile Civic Center.
This year's commencement speaker is Congressman S. D. Bishop, Jr., a native Mobilian and the son of the late Dr. Sanford D. Bishop, Sr., for whom the College is named after and the College’s first president. Congressman Bishop is currently serving his fifteenth term in the U.S. House of Representatives, representing Georgia's Second Congressional District, which covers 29 middle and southwest Georgia counties.
Bishop State's Class of 1972 will also be in attendance as they celebrate their 50th year of graduating.
