UPDATE September 20, 2020 @ 4:51 p.m.

All online and in-person classes will resume as scheduled beginning Monday, September 21, 2020. The campus and all offices will be open to the public.

Faculty and staff will return to their regularly scheduled office hours or contact their supervisor for flex scheduling.

Students who are still facing issues with their power or internet connection should contact and notify their instructors.



UPDATE September 17, 2020 @ 3:27 p.m.

All online and in-person classes, offices, events, and activities are canceled for the remainder of the week. Only essential employees are asked to report to their respective campuses on Friday, September 18, 2020. The college will remain closed with plans to reopen and resume normal operations on Monday, September 21, 2020.

UPDATE September 15, 2020 @ 1:15 p.m.

Bishop State Community College continues to monitor the severe weather conditions surrounding Hurricane Sally.

Due to the impact this storm is expected to have on the Mobile region, all classes, offices, and events scheduled for Wednesday, September 16, 2020 have been canceled. The libraries, Learning Assistance Center, and Delchamps Student Life Complex will be closed.

All non-essential employees should plan to continue to work remotely on Wednesday. Essential employees should check with their supervisors to receive instructions concerning schedules and weather preparations.

Please remain weather alert during these times and stay safe. The Bishop State administration will continue to monitor this storm as it approaches our area and make further updates and changes as necessary.
