As the storm approaches tonight, we will be monitoring the conditions. Please look for updates concerning Wednesday classes on our website and social media pages. WEATHER ALERT UPDATE 8:45p: As a safety precaution to the possible upcoming severe weather, all Bishop State classes will dismiss Tuesday, September 4, 2018, at Noon. At this time, faculty and staff will work their regularly scheduled hours. As this weather threat continues to progress, please continue to look for updates on our website, social media pages, and your local news stations. ORIGINAL STORY: Due to the approaching tropical storm, all Bishop State classes on all campuses will dismiss beginning at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, September 4, 2018. All evening classes have been canceled. Any class that meets prior to 3 p.m. will still meet. Faculty and staff will still work their regularly scheduled hours at this time. Be safe during this storm. Please use your judgment as to whether or not it is safe for you to drive to class and work. We are closely monitoring this storm as it approaches the Gulf Coast and will continue to make changes as necessary.
