What is the ATI TEAS?

The ATI TEAS (Test of Essential Academic Skills) is designed to specifically assess a student’s preparedness to enter the health science field. Most likely, you’ve been asked to take the TEAS as part of your basic admissions requirements for your nursing or allied health program. That’s because studies show a consistent link between a student’s performance on the TEAS and future academic success.

The ATI TEAS exam consists of 170 questions, 20 of which are unscored pretest items. Questions are designed to test the basic academic skills you will need to perform in class in the areas of:

  • Reading
  • Math
  • Science
  • English
  • Language Usage

Thank you for signing up to take the TEAS. The office is open on Monday-Thursday from 8am-5pm and on Friday from 8am-2pm. Cash, debit cards, credit cards, and money orders are accepted.

Once you have made your payment for the TEAS, TO COMPLETE THE PROCESS, you will email a copy of your TEAS receipt to You can also hand deliver a copy of your receipt to Mr. Mullen personally. Mr. Mullen’s office is on the second floor of the Delchamp’s Student LIfe Complex, room 202. Once Mr. Mullen has received your receipt of payment, your TEAS sign-up is complete and your test date is now SET.

If we do not receive a copy of your receipt on the day that you have paid for the test, we will not know if you have paid. This can result in you missing your scheduled test date and being pushed back to another available test date.
