The Automotive Technology program offers detailed modernized training for students to become qualified automotive service and maintenance technicians. Instruction covers all facets of automotive mechanics, basic scientific principles, and current technical information using modern diagnostic and maintenance equipment.
Students will learn to diagnose, repair, and then test concerns in electrical and electronics, engine performance, engine repair, brakes, steering and suspension, automatic and manual transmissions, and air conditioning/ heating systems.
Emphasis is also placed on teamwork, problem-solving, proper and special tool usage, good work habits, strict safety standards, and effective customer relations.
