All Bishop State Community College classes will return to remote instruction on Friday, October 30, 2020. Students, if you have any questions or issues, please contact your instructor as they are ready to assist you. If there are any issues, please contact the Dean of Instruction Roderick McSwain at rmcswain@bishop.edu.

Essential employees are also scheduled to return to work on campus on Friday. If there are any questions as to whether or not you are an essential employee, please contact your supervisor.

UPDATE October 28, 2020
Due to power outages and damage caused by Zeta, Bishop State Community College will remain closed on Thursday, October 29, 2020.

PREVIOUS STORY - October 27, 2020:

Bishop State Community College is monitoring Tropical Storm Zeta as it approaches the Gulf Coast. Due to the potential for severe weather in our area, all classes scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. or later on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 will be held remotely. All classes scheduled to meet prior to Noon on Thursday, October 29, 2020 will also be held remotely. Classes are expected to resume their regular schedules on Thursday, October 29 beginning at Noon.

Bishop State personnel are dismissed Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at 2 p.m. and should return to their regular schedule at Noon on Thursday, October 29.
