Previous Story: Scholarships are now available for students or potential students interested in earning a degree or certificate in Early Childhood Education at Bishop State! The Leadership in Child Care Scholarship provides financial assistance (tuition and select fees) to qualified child care professionals who are working in licensed or exempt from licensure child care facilities in Alabama. Applicants must be enrolled or interested in enrolling into the Early Childhood Education program at Bishop State. The college offers an Early Childhood Education Associate in Applied Science degree (AAS), a Paraprofessional Training Certificate, as well as a CDA Credential. Applicants must apply to Bishop State for admission and are encouraged to apply for financial aid prior to submitting the Leadership in Child Care Scholarship application. The Alabama Community College System must receive applications no later than June 1st for Fall Semester enrollment and September 1st for Spring and Summer Semester enrollment. All applicants will receive a letter stating whether or not they have been selected to receive the scholarship.
