Transient students are encouraged to take classes at Bishop State this summer! Transient students are students who return home for the summer after attending a 4-year college or university during the fall and spring semesters.

Transient students can take general education courses at Bishop State this summer and then transfer their earned credits to the 4-year institution they are attending for the fall. This helps students who are looking to get ahead in their classes as well as those who need to catch up or even repeat a course. Bishop State has some of the lowest tuition rates in the state, so taking this opportunity will also save students - and their parents - money. Tuition and fees for a three-hour course at Bishop State will cost $492 (that equates to $164 per credit hour) this summer.
