Last year's number one starter for Bishop State's baseball team, Lukas Young of Mobile's Baker High School, was drafted in the 2017 Major League Baseball draft by the Boston Red Sox. Lukas beings his MLB journey on June 15, in the New York Penn League, and he is now the 3rd Wildcat to play professional baseball during Coach Mark Johnston's time with the Wildcats.
