Homecoming week is here! Bishop State will play the Wallace-Selma Patriots Saturday, January 13, 2018. But before the big game, there are a number of events for students, faculty, staff and the community to enjoy! It begins Tuesday, January 9 with a rivalry game against the Coastal Alabama South Sun Chiefs. The women's game begins at 5:30 p.m. and the men will play at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free for Bishop State students, faculty and staff with ID. On Thursday, January 11 come check out the Faculty vs. Students basketball game. Find out if Bishop State faculty members still have their skills on the court or if our students will be sending them back to school. The winner will leave with bragging rights for the year! The game will be at 11 a.m. on the main campus in the Fredericka G. Evans Cultural Centre/Gymnasium. Later Thursday evening will be the Bishop State Alumni Game. Some Bishop State alumni will hit the court for the matchup that will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the main campus gym. All of the festivities lead up to Bishop State's Saturday homecoming game. The day begins with the first-ever Fan Frenzy Tailgating Experience in Bishop State courtyard. The community is invited to come out for a day of food, fun and a good time for all! 107.3 The Beat will be live on campus providing us with the music to keep the celebration going! Tailgating will begin at 10 a.m. and continue until game time which is 2 p.m. Be sure to come join us for all of the fun planned this week.
