MOBILE, Ala., August 7, 2025 - Bishop State’s Nursing Program hosted a New Student Orientation for more than 80 incoming nursing students. The event was designed to fully immerse new students in the program, campus, and available resources.

The day kicked off with music, videos, and light refreshments before moving into a welcome address by the Director of Nursing and the Dean of Health Sciences. Students met faculty and staff, learned about program expectations, explored curriculum details, and participated in hands-on breakout sessions covering skills labs, dosage calculations, clinical preparation, and technology resources.

Lunch provided a relaxed networking opportunity, followed by presentations on student services, clubs, security, and campus resources. The event concluded with prize giveaways, distribution of welcome kits, and time for students to familiarize themselves with the campus, setting a strong foundation for their nursing journey.
