Bishop State Community College hosted the Mobile Area Black Chamber of Commerce on campus Tuesday, June 29, 2021 for the Chamber’s Workforce Development Workshop: “Building Your Workforce."

During this event, Bishop State’s David Felton, Dean of Economic and Workforce Development discussed the impact Bishop State plays in the future of workforce development. He shared diverse opportunities available for students to enroll in accredited and non-accredited technical programs.

“Community engagement is a priority for Bishop State,” says Sherrica Hunt, Bishop State’s Director of Institutional Advancement. “As a community partner, we want to provide opportunities for residents to have a better quality of life and provide a robust and highly skilled workforce to Mobile and its surrounding counties.”

Bishop State looks forward to engaging with more community stakeholders and creating partnerships of great value to the community.
