Bishop State Community College has partnered with the University of Mobile to create a new pathway for students pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Child and Social Development.

Through this newly signed articulation agreement, Bishop State students who complete the required courses will have a seamless transition into the University of Mobile’s Bachelor of Science in Child and Social Development Program. The agreement ensures that up to 62 credit hours can be transferred toward the 124-credit-hour degree, helping students save time and money as they advance their education.

The articulation agreement, signed by Bishop State President Olivier Charles and University of Mobile President Charles W. Smith Jr., Ph.D., reflects a continued commitment by both institutions to support student success and educational advancement.

"We are excited to strengthen our partnership with the University of Mobile," said President Charles. "This agreement provides our students with an excellent opportunity to continue their education and pursue meaningful careers in child and social development."
