A new Miss and Mr. Bishop State Community College has been chosen to represent the College for the upcoming school year. Destiny Branch is the 2018-2019 Miss Bishop State. Alexis Ross, Cherish McKay and Ashley Burrell are first, second and third runners up respectfully. Caleb Lyght earned the title as Mr. Bishop State. Braylen Cathcart and Myron Perkins were named first and second runners up respectfully. To enter the pageant, the students had to have a "C" or better grade point average. The contestants were evaluated by a panel of judges on four categories: introduction, talent, evening/semi-formal wear and on-stage question. Mr. And Miss Bishop State will receive a one-year scholarship to cover the costs of tuition and fees for the 2018-2019 academic year. They will also be recognized as members of the Bishop State Ambassadors Program with the responsibility of making appearances and volunteering at various events. Mr. And Miss will also be involved in implementing the college's recruiting initiatives. We are proud of the Bishop State 2018-2019 Royal Court and look forward to seeing them represent Bishop State throughout our community.
