The deadline for the Bishop State CARES - Emergency Relief Grant has been extended until September 3 and all students have until this time to complete the application process. To qualify, students must:

  1. Submit an application for admission to Bishop State

  2. Complete and submit a FAFSA (001030 school code)

  3. Register for Fall 2021 classes

  4. Complete the grant application which will be emailed to their Bishop State email account after registering for Fall 2021 classes.

Students taking full-term and mini-term 1 classes may also apply through the new deadline; however, all charges must be paid by Wednesday, August 18 to avoid losing their schedule. Students interested in taking late-start and mini-term 2 courses will have until September 3 to complete the application process to avoid losing their schedule on Thursday, September 9.

Through the Bishop State CARES - Emergency Relief Grant, Bishop State is providing all qualifying degree-seeking students up to $1,467 (equal to 9 credit hours of in-state tuition and fees) in grant funds to use toward tuition and fees for the Fall 2021 semester. This grant will be distributed until all funds have been exhausted.
