NEW STUDENTS

Not Admitted Yet? You must be admitted to Bishop State with a complete application file (application, driver's license submission, and required official transcripts) before registering for classes. To complete the application process, follow the instructions on the Admissions page.

ALL STUDENTS (5 STEP ONLINE REGISTRATION PROCESS):

STEP 1: Activate student accounts for student communication (Email, Canvas, and Banner - the new OneACCS student portal - formerly known as BORIS).

STEP 2: Review the online schedule of classes.

STEP 3: Make an appointment with a Student Service Staff Member to reserve your online registration day and time.

STEP 4: Register for classes and confirm your registration (Note: confirm your schedule and print a copy by logging into your New OneACCS Student Portal called Banner formerly known as BORIS).

STEP 5: Review your financial aid account for balances and missing documents by logging into Banner - the new OneACCS student portal - formerly known as BORIS.

ALL STUDENTS (3 STEP PROCESS FOLLOWING REGISTRATION):

STEP 1: Check Technology (ensure you have Internet Access/Wi-Fi).

STEP 2: Complete the online PAWS Orientation located in Canvas. All students are required to complete the 30-minute online orientation before being granted class access in Canvas. PAWS Orientation is an introduction to the resources that will help connect you to Bishop State and support you in your total student success.

STEP 3: Review the Student Handbook located on the homepage under the Student Support tab. The handbook is Bishop State’s policy manual that offers a collection of student expectations that includes: conduct, standards, policies, and resources.
