Nail Technology

The Nail Technology program is designed to provide students with the knowledge, technical skills, and attitudes for entry level employment. Students will learn cutting edge procedures and methods through an accredited nail tech school. Upon licensure, possible employment opportunities for students include manicurists, nail technicians, nail artists, salon receptionists and nail salon owners or managers. Places of employment are found in salons, spas, nail salons, malls, resorts, and shopping centers.

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be eligible to sit for the Alabama State Board of Cosmetology Nail Technology licensure examination. This examination is administered by the NIC (National Interstate Boards of Cosmetology).
