NOTE: Beginning with the Fall 2008 semester, Bishop State will no longer charge late fees for late registration (i.e., registration on or after the first day of class). However, we do encourage you to register as soon as possible to insure that you get the classes you need.

July 21-25, 2008 - Monday-Friday: Student Advisement Week for Returning Students. To find out who your advisor is, login to the BORIS system and click the View My Information link. Returning Students may be registered by their advisors during this week.

July 22, 2008 - Tuesday: Online Registration using BORIS begins at 8:00 AM and CONTINUES through the end of Drop/Add, Wednesday, August 20, 2008. ***** Note that ANY admitted student may register online at this time if he or she has been advised AND authorized to do so*****.

July 22, 2008 - Tuesday: New Student Orientation for Technical Majors at the Southwest Campus.

July 23, 2008 - Wednesday: New Student Orientation for Technical Majors at the Carver Campus.

July 28, 2008 - Monday: New Student Orientation for Health Related Majors at the Central Campus Auditorium. Registration will be held in Central Campus computer labs after orientation.

July 29, 2008 - Tuesday: New Student Orientation for Academic Majors at the Main Campus Theater. Registration will be held in Main Campus computer labs after orientation.

July 31, 2008 - Thursday: On-Campus Registration begins on all campuses. On Main Campus (Academic Majors): 2nd floor of the Business Technology Center; on Central Campus (Health Related Majors): in designated computer labs. Carver and Southwest Campuses (Technical Majors) will have registration in their student services areas.

August 13, 2008 - Wednesday - Regular on-campus Registration for all campuses.

August 14, 2008 - Thursday - Regular on-campus Registration for all campuses.

August 15, 2008 - Friday - Online Registration continues.

August 18, 2008 - Monday: Classes Begin, Drop/add and Late Registration begins (NO late fees).

August 19, 2008 - Tuesday: Drop/add and Late Registration continues (NO late fees).

August 20, 2008 - Wednesday: Drop/add and Late Registration ends (NO late fees).

December 12, 2008 - Friday: Last day of Classes.

ONLINE STUDENTS - there will be a FREE ONLINE COURSE ORIENTATION CLASS at a time and place TBD. Please feel free to attend even if you haven't registered for an online course yet. Click here for an Online Course Orientation document.

NOTE: All online classes will require a final exam to be taken on campus during a predetermined time. The time for the final exam will be announced within each course early in the term. Other arrangements may be made for students who are unable to visit the campus to take an exam. Additional information will be provided within each course.

ATTENTION STUDENTS: EVERY registered student will be issued their own campus e-mail address from Bishop State! This is for your personal use while you are a student here at Bishop. Online students MUST check your campus e-mail frequently!
