Where will my password and login come from? A username and password will be emailed to you once you have been cleared for admission. It will be sent to your Bishop State Campus e-mail account - you cannot use your personal e-mail address for your online class. How do I get to the online classes? Follow the link from the Bishop State main page entitled, "Distance Learning", or go to http://bscconline.org. This will take you to a page to login. Who do I call if I have a technical problem? You can contact eCollege's Help Desk to solve your technical needs. If you cannot login to eCollege to e-mail them call: 303-873-0005 or e-mail them at helpdesk@bscconline.org. The Help Desk is available 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week. Who do I call about transcripts, transfers, payment, and other student services? For the most part, Admissions will handle these questions. However, to see the contact information for all of our services, please click here. Why can't I login to my course? A. You must have cookies enabled on your browser to use your online course. For more details on these and other technical requirements, go to http://bscconline.org and click "Technical Requirements", then click "Browser Test". C. You must check your Bishop State Campus E-mail account to receive your correct login ID and password. If you have any other questions about logging in, e-mail your social security number and name to info@bishop.edu. D. If you are not fully registered for your online course, then you will not be able to login to it. To be fully registered, you must have paid for your courses in full, or you must have had your charges receipted in full to your financial aid. You may complete your registration using the BORIS system. Do I need an email account to take an online course? No. Bishop State will provide you with a Campus e-mail address after you have finished the registration process. You will need this e-mail account for contact with your instructor during the course. You cannot use your personal e-mail address for your online class(es). Will I ever have to come to campus? Beginning with the Fall 2007 term, all online classes will require a final exam to be taken on campus during a predetermined time. The time for the final exam will be announced within each course early in the term. Other arrangements may be made for students who are unable to visit the campus to take an exam. Additional information will be provided within each course. Is there an orientation that I can attend to answer more of my questions? Yes, we host a new online student orientation every semester. If you have registered for a course you will receive information regarding this orientation, or click here. |
