Bishop State Offers Self Defense Class for Women

A self-defense class for women will be offered by Bishop State Community College beginning Monday, Nov. 17, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The class is designed to empower women to feel confident in defending themselves in potentially dangerous situations. Taught by Cindi Turgeau, a certified karate instructor, the class covers self-protection awareness for women. A $20 fee is required to register – includes course instruction and a certificate of completion.
