The Learning Assistance Center (LAC) offers programs and services that are designed to enhance learning skills and help all Bishop State students succeed while promoting confidence and independent learning skills.

Professional and Peer Tutors are available to assist students with their academic needs. We are located on the second floor of the Delchamps Student Life Complex. Normal hours of operation are 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Fridays.

We do offer extended hours during each semester. The extended hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. Friday hours remain the same from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
