
Position: Craft/Technical Instructor (part-time)
Qualifications: High school diploma/GED equivalent is required, an associate degree or higher is preferred. Experience at a minimum of journey level or technical level in his/her area or expertise, or have a minimum of three (3) years experience as a certified teacher in vocational/technical construction- related, maintenance-related, or pipeline-related training program. The applicant for this position must also be registered with the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER).
Duties and Responsibilities: The instructor will be required to teach National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) certified courses in the immediate Mobile area and at various time throughout Mobile Area, Workforce Development Region-9, counties. Courses will include the NCCER Core curriculum and support teaching of OSHA-10 HOUR COURSE WITH CPR and Self-Aid First Aid training. Day or evening classes may be required. Some travel, at standard Per Diem rates may be required for courses taught outside of the immediate Mobile area.
Hourly Rate: $22.50
