Mobile, Al – Bishop State Community College captured silver and bronze Medallion awards in this year’s National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR) District 2 Medallion Awards competition.
The college received two Silver (second place) Awards in the College Promotional Video and Web Site categories and a Bronze (third place) Award in the Television Advertising/PSA Single category. Bishop State Public Relations Director Herb Jordan accepted the awards on behalf of the college during a recent awards ceremony in Hilton Head, S.C.
The NCMPR District 2 Medallion Awards competition recognizes excellence in communications exclusively among two-year colleges in 11 states, The Bahamas and Bermuda. The National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (ncmpr.org) is the only organization of its kind that represents marketing and public relations professionals at community and technical colleges. As one of the fastest-growing affiliates of the American Association of Community Colleges, NCMPR has more than 1,550 members from more than 650 colleges across the United States, Canada and other countries.
